PHARMICO, a.s. is a joint-stock company based in the Czech Republic. We concentrate especially on
providing consultancy in the area of the pharmaceutical business and cover activities such as:
I. Medical Department
• Approving all promotional materials including TV advertisements in accordance with correspondent
legal and ethical requirements, assessing scientific accuracy.
• Providing scientific medical information to professionals as well as to lay public following all relevant legal
and ethical regulations (e.g.: answers to external questions, official announcements, seminar lectures).
• Establishing and maintaining an optimal relationship with opinion leaders and influencers.
• Medical training of sales representatives.
• Communication with the State Institute of Public Health (SZU), the State Institute for Drug Control (SUKL),
the Ministry of Health, possibly with other institutions.
• Developing relevant SOPs.
• Providing input to respective activities regarding pricing and reimbursement.
• Initiating, supervising and terminating clinical trials, i.e. planning, center selection, contracts, cooperation with CROs on monitoring etc.
• Congress and seminar participation for giving lectures and/or keeping up-to-date knowledge within
a therapeutic area.
• Pharmacoeconomy.
• Pharmacovigilance.
• Searching for scientific articles and clinical studies in compliance with assigned topics.
• Preparing presentations in powerpoint in compliance with assigned topics.
II. Marketing and Sales Department
• Product Manager´s responsibilities:
Monitoring the market. Market research and benchmarking. Developing adequate strategy and tactics and their communication. Planning and budgeting.
Developing promotional materials. Launching new products.
• Sales Manager´s responsibilities:
Implementing commercial strategies and tactics in the field by directing, monitoring, motivating, coaching and managing a team of medical sales
representatives. Basic sales skills training (e.g.: SPIN). Monitoring activities and budget control.
• Medical Sales Representative´s responsibilities:
Defining territory potential and key customers in the region. Surveying customer needs. Regular sales calls. Managing seminars.
Active participation in scientific conferences (stand, presentation etc.).
III. Translations
• Translations of scientific medical articles and presentations from Czech to English and vice versa.
IV. A full range of services for a medical product (drug) in the Czech Republic
• Registration.
• Submitting an application for maximal price and reimbursement if needed.
• Launching.
• Market promotion.
• Pharmacovigilance.
